Rescheduled car show set Saturday in Greenville

GREENVILLE — The luck of the Irish wasn’t with a group of area automobile enthusiasts, whose plan to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by hosting a car and bike show in Greenville got rained out on September 15.

The Wesley Street Cruisers have rescheduled the St. Pat’s Open Hood Car and Bike Rally for between noon and 4 p.m. this Saturday at Bel Aire’s, 5200 Interstate 30.

There is a $10 entry fee, payable at the site. Trophies will be given out for some two dozen classes of vehicles, from American muscle cars, to hot rod coupes to classic and custom trucks and American and custom bikes to cars and motorcycles still “under construction.”

Saturday’s National Weather Service forecast is calling for sunny skies and a high of 71 degrees.
