Sheriff’s Office identifies shooting suspects

GREENVILLE — The nine individuals arrested last week in connection with a reported shooting in Campbell have been identified by the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office.

All nine of the suspects have been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon. Two of the men were already on probation after having been convicted of previous felony offenses.

Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks identified the individuals as James Willis Alexander, 26, of Greenville; Chase Lee Stibbens, 21, of Greenville; Nicholas James Munson, 26, of Greenville; Wesley Shane Ashley 21, of Greenville; Colin Joseph Sell, 18, of Richardson; Corey Dominic Heath, 19, of Commerce; Billy Ray Amos, Jr., 22, of Commerce; Jake Dalton Vann, 20, of Commerce and William Hunter Ward, 19, of Cumby. Ashley was also charged with one count of disorderly conduct involving the incident late Wednesday night at the car wash in Campbell.
