Three indicted for aggravated robbery

GREENVILLE — Three local residents have been charged with acting together in an armed robbery last summer, during which a man was beaten.

The Hunt County grand jury also indicted at least five people Friday on charges of aggravated assault, most of which were alleged to have the result of family violence.

The current grand jury is continuing present indictments in felony cases for consideration by the 196th District Court.

Dominque Ashley, 19; Caunte Howard, 17; and Christy Stone, 19, all of Greenville, each received one indictment for aggravated robbery.

The three were alleged in the indictments to have acted together to assault a male victim by striking him with a stick and/or a glass bottle while in the course of committing a theft on July 31, 2012. All three individuals were reported arrested on Aug. 2, 2012.

— Dashawn Kenyon Edwards, 19, of Greenville, received one indictment for aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury/family violence. Edwards was alleged to have assaulted a female member of his family or household, or someone with whom he had a relationship, on May 22, 2012.

— Chase Edward Harrison, 21, of Greenville and Cody James Jordan, 21, of Azle, each received one indictment for aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

The pair were alleged in the indictment to have acted together to assault a male victim on July 1, 2012.

— Harrison was also indicted on a separate count of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury/family violence.

Harrison was alleged in the indictment to have assaulted a female member of his family or household, or someone with whom he had a relationship, on July 1, 2012.

— Jimmy Dale Martin, 47, of Quinlan, received one indictment for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Martin was alleged to have assaulted a male victim on May 24, 2012.

— Lynnzee Muree Phillips, 21, of Wolfe City, received one indictment for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence. Phillips was alleged in the indictment to have bitten a female victim and/or to have attacked the victim with a knife on July 11, 2012.
