New show planned for classic vehicles

First Bel-Aire car show Saturday

GREENVILLE — Lovers of classic cars and motorcycles, and those who love to show off their classic cars and motorcycles, will be interested in a car and bike show scheduled in Greenville Saturday.

The Wesley Street Cruisers is presenting the inaugural Bel-Aire’s Car and Bike Show, outside of the Bel-Aire Sports Grill at 5200 Interstate 30.

The show begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and features a $5 entry fee for motorcycles and a $10 entry fee for cars and trucks.

Trophies will be offered for multiple winners, including the Best of Show and People’s Choice. Other categories will include American Muscle, Camaro, Classic, Convertible, Corvette, Hot Rod Coupe, Hot Rod Sedan, Mustang, Truck, Under Construction, American Bike, Custom Bike, and Metric Bike.

The Wesley Street Cruisers is also the sponsor of the “Wesley Street Cruise Night”, a three-day event which marked its fourth annual celebration of all things automotive and rock and roll during the Labor Day weekend.
