GREENVILLE — One man was killed and another injured in a lunch hour two-vehicle crash north of Greenville Thursday.

Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Kyle Bradford said the accident between two vans occurred at approximately 12:02 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 69, about one-half mile north of County Road 1036.

Alan F. Bagwell, 67, of Huntsville, was pronounced dead at the scene following the rear-end collision. Bagwell was reported driving a 2009 Chevrolet van, while Arther E. Taylor, 66, of Greenville was said to driving a 2012 Ford van.

Bradford said both vehicles were northbound when Taylor came to a stop to make a left-hand turn and Bagwell’s van crashed into the back of Taylor’s van.
