Fall festivals scheduled today, Saturday

GREENVILLE — It shouldn’t be too hard to a find a location celebrating the autumn season, as three fall festivals are scheduled across Greenville during the next few days.

— L.P. Waters Early Childhood Center, 2504 Carver Street in Greenville, has a fall festival starting at 5 p.m. today. The event will feature free hot dogs, games, prizes, booths and more.

— Bowie Elementary School, 6005 Stonewall Street in Greenville, has a fall festival scheduled between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, including kids games, bounce houses, bingo, a cake walk, a silent auction and food.

— The YMCA of Greenville & Hunt County is celebrating fall with a festival starting at 6 p.m. Saturday. The event is open to the public and will include carnival games, a bounce house, face painting, a cake walk, and more.

Admission to the festival will be 10 canned goods per family, which will go toward the YMCA’s annual food drive to support Hunt County Shared Ministries (FISH).
