GREENVILLE — Anyone who may be hungry today, or who may be interested in a chance at some fantastic prizes, may want to attend today’s Hunt County Shared Ministries (FISH) annual BBQ.

FISH plans to serve hundreds of plates of barbecue from local restaurants during the event, which is the principal fundraiser for the organization and the kickoff to the holiday season for Hunt County Shared Ministries.

The event takes place at the local headquarters of the Texas Army National Guard, 9314 Jack Finney Boulevard in Greenville.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and dinner from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.

All tickets are $10. L-3 Mission Integration is the sponsor of the event.

Raffle tickets are being offered for chances to win prizes ranging from a $1,000 shopping spree to the Calico Cat, an Apple iPad to a 42-inch high definition television from Crumpton TV in Greenville.

Raffle tickets are available for a $10 donation and can be purchased at the FISH offices, 2805 King Street or from any member of the board of Hunt County Shared Ministries. The drawing for the prizes will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. today.
