GREENVILLE — Officials with Hunt County Shared Ministries (FISH) have scheduled the distributions of Christmas food baskets in the area.

Volunteers spent Tuesday and Wednesday nights packing hundreds of boxes of donated food items. Volunteers may also be needed to complete the process tonight, starting at 5:30 p.m. on the back dock of the GEUS David McCalla building, 2810 Wesley Street in Greenville.

The distributions will take place in Greenville, between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday at Aldersgate Church, 5500 Sayle Street; in Caddo Mills at the former New Life Church building, 3101 State Highway 66;  at the First United Methodist Church in Commerce, 1709 State Highway 50; in Quinlan at the First United Methodist Church, 1555 East Quinlan Parkway; and in Wolfe City at the volunteer fire department, 102 South Santa Fe Street.

Applicants will need to bring their confirmation card on the day of the event. No photocopies of confirmation cards or photo ID will be accepted.

There will be no other dates made available for Christmas pickup, although applicants may list one other person who lives at their address to pick up their basket.
