Huge land auction starting Tuesday

GREENVILLE — A huge land auction, which includes what could be some prime real estate in Greenville, is scheduled Tuesday.

The auction, organized by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Coldwell Banker Commercial, is to be conducted at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas.

The auction is expected to have more than 180 properties across Texas up for bid, including the historical site which contains the “rock wall” after which the City of Rockwall is supposedly named.

Twenty parcels of land from Hunt County are featured in the auction, including more than 12 acres fronting 2301 Traders Road. A dozen parcels in Royse City are up for bid; including seven in Hunt County, three in Rockwall County and two in Collin County.

A 1.76 acre tract at 900 Main Street in Commerce is included in the auction, as well as a car wash in Caddo Mills.

Nine tracts in the Quinlan area, and one with a Leonard address are also for sale.

Information concerning the sale is available online at www.landauctiontexas.com.
