City of Greenville hosting Senior Resource Fair

GREENVILLE — Information will be available this week on a variety of topics pertaining to local senior residents, during a free event sponsored by the City of Greenville Parks and Recreation Department.

A Senior Adult Resource Fair is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at the Reecy Davis Recreation Center, 4320 Lee Street in Greenville. The event is expected to include multiple displays and exhibit booths, including professionals discussing issues dealing with senior living on a daily basis.

Vendors scheduled for the fair include Alliance Bank, Beyond Faith, Coker-Mathews, Colonial Lodge, Family Pharmacy, Greenville Health and Rehab, the W. Walworth Harrison Public Library in Greenville, the Greenville Police Department, Healing Touch Home Health, the Home Care Network, Hospice Plus, Hunt Regional Behavioral Health Services, Hunt Regional Medical Center, LUV Medgroup, Mary Kay, Medicare, Senior Center Resources and Public Transit and many more.

The event will also feature free giveaways, refreshments and door prizes.
