Injury total from storms in Hunt County remains at 4

Update expected by noon on damage totals

GREENVILLE — Hunt County Emegency Management Director Richard Hill said the number of injured in the county, as a result of Thursday's storms, is still listed at four people as of 9 a.m today.

Three people were injured in a residence along County Road 1081 at 8:09 p.m. Thursday, while another man was hurt in a residence along FM 1569 at 8:13 p.m Thursday. All four individuals were transported by ambulance to the Hunt Regional Health Care hospital in Greenville. The identities of the injured and the extent of their injuries were not immediately released.

Hill said he expects to have a more detailed report as to the damage totals later this morning, as crews are still involved in the assessments.
