Diving in for free

GREENVILLE — Local kids have a chance today to dive into some free, and cool, summer fun.

The Greenville Police Department Summer of Safety continues with Swimming Friday, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Ja-Lu Municipal Swimming Pool.

 Kids can swim for free and the event includes a hot dog lunch for children and their parents.

The Summer of Safety will continue next week, with Movie Friday July 5 at Greenville Middle School, Skating Friday on July 12 at Skate Safari and the Teen Police Academy July 15-19.
