Saturday morning in Greenville belonged to those who have served the country, as a Veterans Day parade wound its way through downtown.
Multiple veterans groups participated alongside area fire departments, local law enforcement and equestrian entries. The parade, sponsored by the American Red Cross of Hunt County was held as a way to celebrate heroes past and present and also drew pockets of flag waving admirers along Lee and Washington Streets.
