For three days next week, the community of Cash, south of Greenville, and a local hotel are expected to be at the center of the All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) universe.
Caddo Point Motorsports, 1122 County Road 2246, will host the sixth annual Maxxis 12 Hours of ATV America event, which begins Thursday and continues through Saturday, including the first-ever Miss ATV America Beauty Pageant at the Quality Inn in Greenville.
Gates for the races open at 2 p.m. Thursday at Caddo Point Motorsports, with the first round of the activities scheduled to begin Friday. The “evening gown” competition of the beauty pageant, which will be aired live on ATV Scene.com, takes place at 6 p.m. inside the Hangar Bar at the hotel, 1215 Interstate 30.
Racing takes place starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, with the “casual wear” and “swimwear” portions of the beauty pageant taking place during the day and that evening at the hotel.
The awards sessions begin at 9 p.m. Saturday, followed by a post event party and bonfire.
