It bills itself as an automobile show for both cop cars and hot rodders.
But Saturday’s fifth annual Cops & Rodders Auto Show on the campus of Texas A&M University-Commerce promises to include “anything with wheels and a motor.”
The event is scheduled to begin with registration at 8 a.m., with the awards being presented at 3 p.m. Saturday on the parking lot of the Morris Recreation Center. There is an entry fee or $20 per vehicle, or a pre-entry fee of $15 per vehicle which will include goody bag, dash plaque, and a commemorative T-Shirt. Those wanting to participate in the stereo sound-off competition are asked to pony up $5 extra.
The show is open to original and modified classes and is also expected to feature door prizes, outdoor games, food and drinks, a free swimming area and more.
Those wanting more information about the event, or who may wish to pre-register can e-mail Jeff Hundley at jeffhundley@sbcglobal.net or jeff_hundley@tamu-commerce.edu.
