Law enforcement authorities are searching for up to three suspects who allegedly robbed a game room just south of Greenville at gunpoint early Thursday morning.
No one was injured during the hold-up at the Cha-Ching Game Room, according to Hunt County Chief Sheriff’s Deputy Robert White, who said deputies were dispatched to the business at 3931 Highway 34 South at around 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
“There were two white males, wearing hoodies over their heads and bandannas over their faces,” White said. “One of the subjects displayed a handgun at the employees, while the other male kicked in the door to the office. They didn’t say anything.”
The suspects were said to have left the business, entered a dark blue or black passenger vehicle and sped away. A third suspect was believed to be driving the vehicle.
“An undetermined amount of money was taken,” White said.
Anyone with information about the reported robbery can contact either the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office at 903-453-6800 or Hunt County Crime Stoppers at 903-457-2929 or through the on-line tip site at www.tipsubmit.com. Those providing information to Crime Stoppers will remain anonymous.
