IRS wasting funds
Have we got problems? Short on cash this month for all the bills? That’s peanuts, folks!
A big thanks
Thanks lots to all the people involved in giving us the spectacular fireworks and all the other activities on the 4th of July at the Sports Park.
Let us not forget
Today, Sunday, 30 June, I drove by the Audie Murphy Historical Marker in Celeste to take some pictures. I noticed the flagpole flying the State of Texas flag was leaning to the right with the flag entangled in a tree.
Keep your eyes open
As we approach negotiation time with L-3, our elected officials (city council) are stepping ever closer to an opportunity to maintain trust and demonstrate openness and honesty to the citizens of Greenville.
Providing more information
I wanted to provide more information in response to the paper’s coverage last Sunday of a bill I introduced during the regular session of the 83rd Texas Legislature, SB 303.
Thanks to the doctors
The family of Greta Sue Kincaid would like to thank Dr. Charles Levin for his kindness and caring. He gave our loved one the best care anyone could ask for till the angels came to take her home.
Honored to serve
To the people of Greenville…
Adlai Stevenson once said, “patriotism is not a short, frenzied outburst of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.”
Curly works hard
This is my first time to write a letter to the editor; but after reading the letter (July 3, 2013) from Bill DuBois concerning the Audie Murphy Historical Marker in Celeste, I had to set the record straight.
