Family history

GREENVILLE —

To the editor:

I am hoping to contact descendants of my great-grandfather, Robert C. Collins. His only living son, Cleve Collins, went to Texas and died near Greenville. I know there were sons and grandsons who lived there. I am the family historian for my family. Bob Collins was an interesting man who appeared out of nowhere, married an Indian girl, and was a logger on the Clinch River in Tennessee. We are hoping there might still be descendants near Greenville who would be willing to exchange information.

Sincerely,

Caroline Tassey
