Cox good choice

Herald-Banner Staff

GREENVILLE — To the editor:

I was born and raised in Greenville and have lived here most of my life, except for the two years my husband, Perry M. Smith, was in dental school and the two years he practiced dentistry in West Texas. Since I just celebrated my 85th birthday, that is a long time to live in one community.

I helped Tyson and Jamie Cox buy their first home in Oak Village when I was a real estate broker. The Coxes and I worked together for several years as members of committees on the Oak Village Swimming Pool Assoc. I have observed them as parents raising three fine young men.

Jamie’s parents, James and Mary Lynn, took care of all my dry cleaning business as far back as I can remember when they picked up and delivered your dry cleaning.

You will find Tyson to be a very friendly, easy to talk to person, who will be interested in hearing what the people in his district want for the city of Greenville.

I strongly recommend you vote for and support Tyson Cox in the election for city councilman representing Place 1.
