To the editor:
I wish to not only vent my disdain over a matter, but also notify potential offenders that they are on the radar with Homeland Security offices in Hunt County.
As a rural citizen I am “sick and tired” of people dumping trash, stealing from me, and otherwise coming on or near my property uninvited and damaging our things. Over the last two weeks, the same offender has dumped partially burnt trash and other disgusting items in our ditches. These people need to know that Homeland Security has been notified and they have worked the scene and found a lot of evidence. You will be discovered and you will pay the price.
I want you to know that we live on our property, we do walk it often, and you have no right to treat us with such disrespect.
If you are so broke you can’t afford to go to the dump, go put your trash in a dumpster in town or make other arrangements, but under no circumstances is it remotely acceptable to use my property as your personal dump! How about I come dump my trash in your yard?
Final thought; every person needs to live by the Golden Rule.
Thanks for your attention.
