Billy Green Sr.

Billy J. Green Sr., 74, of Campbell died the morning of Nov. 4, 2009, at Dallas L TAC Hospital. A memorial service will be at noon Saturday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Warren Dennis.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Born Dec. 25, 1934, in Campbell, he was the son of Dewey Rufus and Aletha Hufstedler Green. He married Maria Nava on March 28, 1984, in Hunt County.

Mr. Green retired from the U.S. Army. He was an electrician for E-Systems. He was a Methodist and a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are his wife of Campbell; two sons, Billy J. Green Jr. of Rowlett and Dayton Green of Campbell; daughters Lisa Cooper of Campbell, Patricia and Ron Wilson of Houston and Jane Green of Carrollton; and five grandchildren.

His parents preceded him in death.
