— Marcus Williams was born to the parentage of Vernell Govan and Mary Williams on March 12, 1966, in Greenville.
He was raised in Lone Oak where he attended school. He was a member of the Mount Gilead Baptist Church in Lone Oak.
Mr. Williams departed this life on July 3, 2009, in Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Those left to cherish his memories are a host of children; his sister, Tressa Williams Jackson (Daryl) of Dallas; special sisters Alexis and Skylar Kelly, both of Dallas; and several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
His homegoing services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mount Gilead Baptist Church in Lone Oak with Rev. Rodell Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Rabb Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Grace & Mercy-Grundy Funeral Home in Greenville.
