— Betty Sue Jones McKenzie, 71, of Greenville passed away July 8, 2009, at her home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel. A private interment will be held at a later date.
Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Born Feb. 2, 1938, in Fort Worth, she was the daughter of Houston and Alma Pugh Jones. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Johnson Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her mother of Greenville; a son, Jeff McKenzie and wife Tammy of Wolfe City; a daughter, Adrienne McKenzie and husband Walt of Marietta, Ga.; grandchildren Courtney Jacobus and husband Brad and Michel Denton and husband Chris and great-grandchildren McKenzie Denton and Brayden Jacobus, all of Wolfe City; two sisters, Gale Yancey and husband Bob of Fairview and Judy Hampton of Commerce; and several nieces and nephews.
Her father preceded her in death.
