— Carloyn Sue Champion, 60, of Greenville died July 2, 2009. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Price Temple Church of God in Christ with Pastor Warren Dennis officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Daughter of Virgie and Ouida Mae Knight, she was born Feb. 6, 1949, in Linden. She was a homemaker and was a member of Greater Rose of Sharon C.O.G.I.C.
Survivors are five sons, Brian Champion, Charlie Champion, Michael Cole, James Champion and Eddie Champion, all of Greenville; a daughter, Beverly Hardmon (Steve) of Greenville; two brothers, J.C. Rodgers and John Albert Cole (Alice); a sister, Leola Williams (Roy); 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, two sisters, and one brother.
