Larry Wilson

Larry Edward Wilson, 59, of Greenville died the morning of Aug. 18, 2009, at the V.A. Medical Center in Dallas. A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday at the House of Prayer Church with Rev. Kenneth Ballard and Rev. Gary Little officiating.

Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born Sept. 20, 1949, in Greenville, he was the son of Billy E. and Virginia Bailey Wilson. Mr. Wilson served in the U.S. Army 2nd Armored Division. He was a truck driver and attended the House of Prayer Church.

Surviving are his father of Farmers Branch; his mother, Virginia Clayton of Caddo Mills; two sons, Jason Wilson of Greenville and David Wilson of Lone Oak; daughter Teresa Megahan of Waxahachie; one brother, Lethal Lester Wilson of West Tawakoni; and grandchildren Ezriel Wilson, Savannah Megahan and Haven Megahan, all of Waxahachie.

A sister, Sharon Bostick, preceded him in death.
