Severe weather in forecast for Sunday

GREENVILLE — The National Weather Service issued an advisory this morning, which warns of the potential for severe weather in our area during the day Sunday:

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA ON SUNDAY. SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE MAINLY ALONG AND EAST OF THE I-35 CORRIDOR. LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE WEATHER HAZARDS. THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL END FROM WEST TO EAST SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.
